Finding oil change coupons isn’t tough to do, but some smart searching can yield much better coupons to save even more.

Find Coupon Codes, Promotional Discounts, and Deals on Oil Changes in Your Area

The first step to getting oil change coupons is to figure out what companies are in your area. This means doing a simple Google search for oil change stores in your town. It is important that you know all of your options because each one will have very different coupons. The most common oil change centers are Jiffy Lube and Midas, but there also may be some local companies that will have coupons as well.

Once you get a good idea of what’s in your area, visit each company’s website. Here you will find all sorts of coupons for all of the different services that they offer. Remember that each company will have different prices for their services, so a $10 off coupon at one might not save as much money as an $8 off coupon would at another. Before you start printing coupons and head out the door, give the oil change center a call to see what the base price of the oil change is before the discount.

Another way that companies offer discounts on oil changes is through loyalty. Jiffy Lube, for example, has a loyalty program that they call the Jiffy Lube Rewards. With this program every third oil change is 50% regular price. There are obviously some limitations, like oil changes have to happen less than 180 days apart, and it’s only good on their Signature Service Oil Change.

If you choose a company that does all sorts of different work on cars, you can usually get a package deal that will also save a lot of money. Midas, for example, does this. They offer a package that gets all of your fluids topped off, the tires rotated, a brake inspection, as well as an oil change for just a few bucks more than a standard oil change. They figure that they can get your business for brake repair and replacement if they are able to find something wrong. Most of the time there isn’t a coupon needed for this service, but it’s still a good idea to visit their website first.

It’s also possible to find great coupons in your local newspaper. These will generally be bundled in the Saturday edition of your local paper, alongside all of the other coupons and advertisements. From my experience, these coupons tend to save more money than the online ones do, but they aren’t always available. Also, you have to need an oil change at the time you find the coupon to take advantage of this.

Saving money on an oil change is great, but with the risks and difficulties involved with doing it yourself, it’s best to leave it to the pros. Finding oil change coupons is very easy to do, and with many of the other programs and offers that these companies have you might not even need to print coupons to save some serious cash!
